Yesterday

Well my internet was down last night so I could not post my Blog. Anyway yesterday was a great day. I worked out for 35 min in the morning , breakfast was Tea with milk and an english muffin (whole wheat). Lunch was a fruit salad. I had an ice cream at 4.pm , I worked out for 45 min after work and dinner was a chicken breast and a glass of wine. I really dont like chicken breast but i hear it is healthy.

Dissapointed but not giving up

Today I weighed myself ,149 pounds. one pound  up from last week. I also broke most rules maybe out of dissapointment. No workout. Breakfast was tea with milk and an English muffin, lunch was a pork chop and some rice, 4pm was a workmates birthday, huge piece of chocolate cake and coffe . Dinner was a small sandwich and 2 glasses of wine. Yes I broke all the rules but will not give up. I am going to bed now and will start again tomorrow. Jane

I had a busy day work work work. breakfast was tea with milk and a muffin. lunch was rice and veges. 4pm with coffee with milk.I  did a one hour workout and dinner was shrimps vegs  and 2 glasses of wine. Tomorrow morning is the moment of truth.I think I havent lost anything but I hope I have not gained . Lets wait and see. KEEP TRYING IT FEELS GOOD TO BE IN CONTROL OF FOOD. Jane

One more day before I weigh myself.

So far I have been doing okey. Apart from two parties on saturday that kind of threw things off I am doing my  best although there is still room for improvement. So, today I started the day with a 30 min workout, had tea with milk and oat meal for breakfast. For lunch I had a banana and some nuts, 4pm was coffee with cream and two cookies . I worked out for 45 min after work and dinner was pasta with veges and a glass of red wine. what went wrong today?Wine I can’t give up but the cookies are not necessary and coffee, I should have used milk instead of cream , a little less pasta would have done. I will keep trying.Jane

Quite good

One hour work out. Breakfast Tea with milk  and three slices of bread. Lunch a banana and some nuts and dinner mixed vegetable chicken soup and a glass of wine.

I can do better than this

 It is past midnight but I  have to write my blog for friday. Well I must confess that I never made it to exercise today, that is why it is always better to do it first thing in the morning if one can. I had a cofee and a muffin for breakfast, for lunch a bean borrito, I had a coffee and 4 cookies at four and I went out for dinner, i got a steak ceaser salad and a glass of wine. I think all was fine apart from the cookies, too much sugar and and trans fats I guess. I dont like the fact that I did not exercise. I will try to compensate tomorrow. I will be attending  2 parties tomorrow I hope I can control myself.

Yet another day. Lots of work and temptations too. Bags of chips  at work but I  swear I eat only one piece. Also cookies which a did not touch. My work place is the place to go if one wants to gain weight. There is always food hanging around, actually this is how I ended up gaining lots of weight. I have to be strong and thanks for those in this site that are encouraging either by writting or just by seeing how determined they are. I belive together we can make it. So anyway breakfast was tea with milk and half a bagel. half? what a miracle!!!. For lunch I had a small piece of pizza , a banana and a peach. I went out to dinner with some friends and had shrimp mixed veges and some steamed rice and 2 glasses of wine. The wine is still a big temptation. I have just worked out for 35 min . Not bad

Very exciting

This morning I weighed my self, seventh day since I joined buddyslim. I have lost 2 pounds. I am so excited. This site is so encouraging. Thank you Char, you keep motivating me. I think I am starting to get what it takes to loose weight. Today we had a party, and I was able to control myself and just eat enough. Anyway my day was great, I started with 30 min workout on my elliptical trainer this morning. Breakfast was tea with milk and a 2 mini muffinis. At lunch we had a potluck dinner at work. I eat some rice and chickpeas and a piece of cheese cake. I managed a second 45 min workout after work and had some fruit salad and mixed veges for dinner. I think I am doing okey.

Day 6

Well I bet I have not lost any weight but I am trying. My eating habits are getting better. Today I had tea with milk and an omellete for breakfast. Lunch was a pork chop and some veges, 2 cookies and coffee at 4.pm and dinner was a beef steak (small), a potato and a glass of beer. Best of all I went to the gym and worked out for one hour. Tomorrow morning I will weigh myself.

Not too bad a day but not too good either. Managed 30 min on my elliptical trainer. Had tea with milk  and 5 cookies for breakfast, shrimp rice noodles for lunch, 3 cookies and coffee at 4pm and chicken and vegetable soup for dinner plus of course 2 glasses of wine. Well I think if I have to be succesful the cookies and the wine have to go. I have no more wine in the house and I will do my best not to buy some at least untill the weekend. Lets see how this works out.
